The South Florida Pride Bands, Inc., and its component organizations, provides a safe and educational environment for LGBTQ+ musicians, youth, and their allies to perform quality music for the LGBTQ+ and greater South Florida communities.

  • Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You) Concert

    The South Florida Pride Concert Band returns to the Amaturo stage on Saturday, May 4th at 7pm in celebration of Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You) and the music of prolific composer, John Williams. In addition to several selections from Star Wars, the Pride Concert Band will perform music from E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Superman, and many more. The evening will be hosted by Pandora Boxx of Rupaul's Drag Race. Video footage will accompany much of the music and as always, there will be some fun surprises including FLoatarama Solo Competition winner, Amanda Stewart, performing the 3rd movement of Mozart's Clarinet Concerto. Audience members are encouraged to dress as their favorite Star Wars character or other characters from one of John Williams’ many film scores.

  • South Florida Pride Band’s Spring Concert

    South Florida Pride Bands presents our Spring Concert as part of the Sunshine Cathedral Center for the Performing Arts series on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 5pm. This exciting event will feature the Pride Jazz Band, under the direction of Edgar Rubio, and the Pride Steel Drum Band, under the direction of Dr. Ron Hughes, as well as several other small ensembles from within the Pride Concert Band. The music will be a great combination of audience favorites and new music highlighting the unique sound of our small ensembles. General admission tickets are $25.
