Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You) Concert

The South Florida Pride Concert Band returns to the Amaturo stage on Saturday, May 4th at 7pm in celebration of Star Wars Day (May the Fourth Be With You) and the music of prolific composer, John Williams. In addition to several selections from Star Wars, the Pride Concert Band will perform music from E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Superman, and many more. The evening will be hosted by Pandora Boxx of Rupaul’s Drag Race.
Video footage will accompany much of the music and as always, there will be some fun surprises including FLoatarama Solo Competition winner, Amanda Stewart, performing the 3rd movement of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto.
Audience members are encouraged to dress as their favorite Star Wars character or other characters from one of John Williams’ many film scores.
